SPECIAL MEETING
Old Lyme Board of Selectmen

The Board of Selectmen held a Special Meeting at 8:30 AM 25 November 2013 in the Meeting Hall of the Old Lyme Memorial Town Hall. First Selectwoman Bonnie Reemsnyder, Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal and Selectman Skip Sibley were present.
1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 8:32 AM.
2. Approve Call for the Town Meeting of Dec. 10, 2013
A Town Meeting will be scheduled for Dec. 10, 2013 in the Middle School Auditorium at 7:30 PM to approve the allocation of funds for phase 1 of the Route 156 Bike Path/Sound View Improvements Project. The Scope of Work and the final man hours to develop the Plans and Specifications for the Project have been finalized, and an amount not to exceed $176,000 will need to be approved at Town Meeting. This will be item 1 on the call of the meeting.
The Town of Old Lyme owns half of the Town Parking lot, with the other half being owned by a non-operational corporation that was formed to oversee the property on behalf of the Town. According to the Town Attorney, the corporation can donate the land to the Town of Old Lyme, but a Town Meeting is required to approve the acceptance of the property. This will be item 2 on the call of the meeting.
A motion was made by Selectman Sibley to recommend the two items to a Town Meeting on Dec. 10, 2013, at 7:30 PM at the Middle School Auditorium. Selectwoman Nosal seconded the motion. So voted.
3. Adjournment
Selectwoman Nosal moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:44 AM. Selectman Sibley seconded the motion. SO VOTED.
